As small businesses step into this very controlled and gate Kept market, the confidentiality of their business information, plans, and specifics of their products or services fall at the hands of personnel whom have existing relationships with large companies. Specifically in customs and the health department, private details about products and origins become table talk for high level competitors. I have personal proof of private Business information being leaked to other companies, followed up by administrative blockages. A well oiled set up to take away brand ideas and opportunities from smaller more creative businesses. This happens often and has been happening for years. What can the government do to bring more integrity and oversight into the protection of private business information.
