Stop wasting money. The only people who will be having a same- sex marriage are those who choose to, and are of legal age (adults) and competent to make such a decision. It is no one else’s business. Pursing the appeal in the courts is a waste of money.

I thought that we had a referendum of public opinion upholding of the sanctity of man and woman marriage and against same sex civil union (marriage)

It's wrong that same sex marriage is not allowed and it reflects very poorly on Bermuda within the international community. We are behind the times, not just behind the times, it's an unpleasant stance Bermuda has chosen to take, it's embarrassing to the point that the government should apologise to it's people and the international community and even consider paying reparations to the wronged. I'm heterosexual by the way.

Totally support this motion. Besides the waste of tax payers money, are we not trying to stop the exodus of young Bermudians from leaving this island?
