Economic Help for Small to Medium Size Businesses

From "Suggestions to stimulate economic recovery for Bermudians once Shelter in Place ends"

Go to the project

Small-medium sized businesses will need more than 3 months grace period on loan payments from banks. If Government approached local and international banks doing business here in Bermuda, to increase the grace period to 9 months-1 year, this would go a very long way to helping business owners to keep their enterprises afloat during this very uncertain time. Even 6 months would be a major help. Please take this onboard for us all.

Get the small, few employee, service businesses open as soon as possible. Cleaning and selling pool chemicals usually is a single employee, one truck Phone in and delivery sales should be allowed, no wet signature required. The pool industry has little to no contact with the client. Swimming pools are a source of activity, enjoyment and exercise for kids of all ages. Proper maintenance of one's investment is important but more vital is the maintenance of water to avoid mosquitoes. These pests are carriers of many diseases like Zika, dengue fever and malaria.
