Establish a Caribbean Airline
From "Suggestions to stimulate economic recovery for Bermudians once Shelter in Place ends"
Go to the project
A number of airlines will go out of business and there will likely be cheap assets available. Consider the formation of a public private airline serving just the Caribbean region to encourage intra Caribbean (including Bermuda) travel without the need to pas through the US. Covid infection rates in the Caribbean are low and islanders will be looking for safe places to travel. Direct flights to and from Bermuda and larger islands. This would either be a private venture or in conjunction with the various governments.

Great idea! I have just raised one similar as well, please take a look and give me a thumbs up if you think it supports your idea as well (I've done the same for yours): https://forum.gov.bm/en/ideas/new-direct-flights-with-countries-with-low-covid-19-cases

My particular wish would be a Bermuda hub servicing Greenland, Azores and Jamaica, all of which are a mere 3-4 hours away. Not only would locals enjoy being able to visit those places, but residents of those places would also be keen to visit Bermuda. Whether it's commercially viable or not is another question...
