Government should implement an Event Board within the Ministry of Tourism which may fall under the Tourism Authority. The purpose of the Board would be analyze and approve proposals, and to provide expert, technical and/or financial support if needed to enable the seamless delivery of the event. This Board would consist of persons with event planning expertise, local and international connections, and legal knowledge. The Board should be provided with perhaps three officers to assist with its duties.
