Considering the sheer number of people we know we need to house, I suspect there are significantly more given that many won't even bother trying to leave an abusive living situation knowing there isn't anywhere to go.
Building costs are incredibly high and yet we continue to build full size bachelor and 1 bed apartments expecting to meet the baseline needs.
People in abusive family or significant other situations need somewhere to be right now. You entrepreneurs need safe places to start from. Micro living should be an option that is readily available in the next few years.
In addition to providing safe spaces for many in need, I also believe this will work to reduce crime and stimulate the economy.
Bottom line, micro living units give Bermuda the best outcome with the least financial strain.

- allow for micro layouts with minimal hallways space.
- allow for higher step heights.
