I would like the House of Assembly to consider a much fairer voting system instead of the first-past-the-post Westminster system. I favour the single transferable vote form of a Proportional Representation system which assigns seats in the House based on the percentage of total votes received in an election.

All that first-past-the-post does is foster polarisation, division and unwillingness to compromise.
This is a much fairer alternative.
