Stimulate Hotel growth

From "Suggestions to stimulate economic recovery for Bermudians once Shelter in Place ends"

Go to the project

Hotels to lower summer rates to attract locals $150-$300 per night throw in some incentives for staycations, upgrades, spa treatments, restaurant discounts, bring back dine around, local band’s, host late night dinners and desserts. But most of all make it affordable for the locals.

I agree with lowering the room rates and providing more local entertainment at the hotels. The dine around vouchers are a great idea as well. I also suggest that the main yard in Dockyard be used as an area for locals to sell their arts and crafts during the day as well as provide entertainment for the tourist.
