ZEV'S and Phase out of gas powered cars

From "National Electric Vehicle Policy and Strategy Consultation"

Go to the project

Good day,

Like life, people should have choices. To hear that Govt. is even talking about phasing out gas cars is a joke. I doubt if anyone in Govt. understands how this impacts the environment in a negative way.

How are the cars getting charged? BELCO.

What happens to the old batteries once their life has ended? In the trees or overboard more than likely.

What is the cost of replacing batteries?

The cars should be available to those that wish them, not removing the regular car. Choices.

There are examples of cars in other countries sitting in fields rotting away and the fluids in the batteries being left to run in to the ground as it is to expensive to replace the battery....which is more expensive than the car itself.

We can go in to more detail but will hold off for now.

Do some research and stop the half witted ideas.

Thank you

Please read: CONSUMER CHOICE and not Government fiat!
Cost of new car batteries is about $16k every 8 years! So a huge chuck to pay out. And that’s if they last that long in our climate
