Timothy Rego6 years ago Tom Lawrence ‘s article in the RG today has merit. Our current economic model of IB and tourism can be supplemented by this one. The aforementioned models are mature and long reached their zenith. There are many super wealthy in the world looking for a place like Bermuda. Obviously they are looking to protect that wealth. Therefore, for Bermuda to remain a transparent community, these wealthy would have to be given a tax resident domicile in Bermuda. Become tax paying residents.. one potential is their philanthropy, which can be seen elsewhere like in the Caymans.
